Mt. Washington is home to some of the worst weather in the world. No joke. This New Hampshire mountain is the highest peak in the Northeastern United States. But at just 6,288.2 ft (1,916.6 m) it dwarfs in comparison to the mountains out west.
Continuing my tour through New England I stop at Madame Sherri's Castle in New Hampshire, a once beautiful home long since forgotten. They I continue into the beautiful White Mountains before crossing in to Vermont. Ben and Jerry's factory tour in Waterbury is next on the list and then I stop in Springfield Massachusetts to visit Dr. Suess and The Cat in the Hat.
