Traveling through beautiful South Dakota you ll see many unexpected things. I check out some cute Prairie Dogs and then travel into The Badlands. From there, its northward to Wall Drug to see the 80 foot dinosaur. Then I travel across the state to Rapid City and explore the Art Alley graffiti walls.
Small South Dakota mining town hidden in the woods. No roads lead to it. No access other than trails and horseback. The small mining town founded in the 1890s. It was almost completely abandoned in 1940 due to the mine closing.
Continuing my travels through beautiful South Dakota, I check out Mt. Rushmore during the sunrise and take you down to the lesser known trail and into the cave below the presidents. Then check out the amazing Mammoth Site where tons of huge prehistoric mammals drowned 26,000 years ago.
